Biography
Hi, my name is Casey!
I am Audhd and bring the perspective of a neurodivergent person to the therapy space. I am following this path of counseling via social work because I believe therapy is about helping you recognize the strengths you already carry and learning how to use them in ways that feel meaningful to you. There is no single definition of what a fulfilling life should look like. My role is to meet you where you are, understand what matters to you, and support you in making choices that feel authentic and empowering.
Considering my background is in advocacy, I am uniquely experienced in providing a space where clients can be open and honest while feeling supported. I also place importance on assisting my clients in finding resources to support them in their mental health journey.
My Practice
I am strengths based with a feminist approach. This means I believe in the importance of our relationships and the impact that the systems around us have on our mental, emotional and physical health. I believe that this approach is rooted in anti-racism and anti-discrimination. Analyzing our relationships to the systems that we live in and their impact on our mental health is vital for the therapeutic relationship. As your therapist, I will be a space where you can feel comfortable and validated in discussing microaggressions, systemic racism, and discrimination in the workplace and in other settings in your life.
I enjoy getting to know people on a deep level and taking in the context of the systems around us. I believe in collaboration with clients on whatever your needs are. I have a flexible but goal-oriented approach and am willing to pivot focus to your immediate needs.

More About Casey
When I’m Not in Session
Outside of work, I love spending time outdoors. I like to jog, hike, and be near rivers and waterfalls. When the weather isn’t as agreeable, I enjoy reading mystery novels, watching scary movies and doing puzzles (sudoku, word puzzles and jigsaw). I live with my partner and our two cats, and I love spending time with them. I consider myself a good cook and enjoy trying new recipes. I absolutely love learning and studying psychology and history.
