Peak’s Approach to Care

At Peak, we see healing as both an inward and outward journey. Our practice is rooted in curiosity, creativity, and collaboration, allowing us to approach each person’s needs with flexibility and care. We believe growth happens when people feel safe enough to explore, supported enough to take risks, and connected enough to know they’re not alone. The work we do together is about fostering resilience, nurturing relationships, and creating lasting change that ripples through families and communities.

Who We Serve

Peak Mental Health is for people who have ever felt like their story didn’t fit into the narrow boxes of traditional mental health care. We welcome those who are ready to look inward, while also curious about how their culture, history, and community shape their lives. Our clients are children, teens, adults, couples, and families who carry layered experiences and want a space where all parts of their story can be seen and valued. At Peak, we believe that no matter where you come from or what you’ve been through, there is space for you here.

Childhood and adolescence come with unique challenges, from naming emotions to navigating friendships, school pressures, and constant change. At Peak, we create safe, supportive spaces where young people can practice emotional regulation, learn tools to manage stress, and feel confident asking for help.

Adulthood often comes with the pressure to “have it all together.” When the reality doesn’t match that expectation, it can leave people feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or discouraged. We work alongside adults to process life’s challenges, uncover strengths, and build resilience, while honoring the complexity of their identities and experiences.

Relationships are central to our well-being, yet they are rarely easy. At Peak, we support couples in learning to communicate more effectively, resolve conflict with compassion, and reconnect with one another in ways that are authentic and lasting.

Families can be both a source of deep love and of challenge. We help families explore their patterns, histories, and connections so they can better support one another, nurture trust, and strengthen their bonds. Whether navigating blended family dynamics, generational differences, or everyday struggles, we create space for growth and healing together.

At Peak, we are especially dedicated to serving those who have been left out of traditional models of care. We welcome and affirm LGBTQ+ individuals, neurodivergent clients, and BIPOC communities, recognizing the unique challenges and strengths each brings. Our clinicians approach every client with cultural humility and curiosity, creating care that is as inclusive and multifaceted as the people we serve.

Peak Rates

Good Faith Estimate

At Peak Mental Health, transparency is part of how we build trust. If you are paying out-of-pocket or choosing not to use insurance, we will provide you with a Good Faith Estimate before you begin services. This estimate will outline the cost of your sessions based on the type of service you receive and the frequency we discuss together. Our goal is to ensure there are no surprises about the financial side of your care, so you can focus fully on your healing and growth.

Insurance

Peak Mental Health accepts insurance and is in-network with a number of providers. This means we bill your insurance company directly for covered services, so you are only responsible for your copay, coinsurance, or deductible as outlined in your plan.

Because every insurance plan is different, we encourage you to contact your provider before your first appointment to confirm:

  • Whether Peak Mental Health is in-network for your plan
  • What your copay or coinsurance amount will be
  • Whether you need pre-authorization for therapy sessions

Our team is happy to assist with verifying your benefits and explaining what your costs may look like. If you have questions about coverage, give us a call or email us before your first session so we can help you get started with clarity and confidence.

We’re creating a culture of care built to support the layered experiences of people the current mental health field was never designed for.

At Peak, this means recognizing how history, culture, identity, and community all shape mental health. We work to remove the barriers that leave many people feeling unseen—especially those who are LGBTQ+, neurodivergent, or part of BIPOC communities. Our clinicians use evidence-based practices through a lens of cultural humility and curiosity, making space for care that reflects each person’s unique story.
