Peak Internships

Peak Mental Health is an inclusive mental health organization committed to making services more accessible, especially among marginalized communities. We believe this starts with the providers, which is why we invest in internships and partnerships to strengthen the network of culturally informed practitioners.

Offering internships is our way of shaping the future of mental health care—by mentoring and supporting emerging clinicians, we help ensure that the next generation of providers is better prepared to serve diverse communities with humility, compassion, and skill. Interns at Peak are not just learners; they are valued members of our team whose voices and perspectives enrich the care we provide.

Peak Clinical Internships

Peak offers paid, comprehensive clinical internship and practicum opportunities to individuals seeking clinical licensure in Minnesota as an LICSW and LPCC. Our internships are designed to be immersive and supportive, giving students the chance to work directly with clients while also receiving mentorship from experienced clinicians. Interns at Peak are fully integrated into our team, participating in weekly case consultations, trainings, and discussions that connect clinical work to community, culture, and current events.

We view internships not just as training placements, but as a way to invest in the next generation of culturally responsive providers. Our goal is to create an environment where interns feel valued, challenged, and prepared to step into the field with confidence and cultural humility.

Now accepting applications for Fall ’26-Spring ’27 Clinical Internship Placements! If you are seeking an internship for fall 2026 please reach out to the Internship Director, Paige Blasing, LPCC, LADC, pblasing@peak-mentalhealth.com.

Partner With Peak

At Peak Mental Health, we believe mental health support should meet people where they already are at work, in schools, in community spaces, and within the systems that shape daily life. We partner with organizations, businesses, and community groups to provide accessible, culturally responsive mental health and wellness services that extend beyond the therapy office. Our work is designed to support real people navigating real stressors, whether that is burnout, secondary trauma, leadership strain, or systemic barriers to care.

Through our partnerships, Peak offers a range of services including remote and in-person workshops, psychoeducation, staff training, consultation, short-term support, and community-based programming. We collaborate closely to tailor offerings that fit your organization’s needs, capacity, and values, serving teams across Minnesota and beyond.

If you are interested in partnering with Peak or exploring what support could look like for your community, reach out to us at support@peak-mentalhealth.com.

We partner with several colleges and universities in the local area:

These partnerships allow us to welcome students from diverse academic backgrounds into our clinic and to support them as they grow into culturally responsive clinicians.

By working closely with local colleges and universities, we strengthen the bridge between classroom learning and real-world practice, ensuring that future providers are prepared to meet the needs of historically underserved communities.

For us, these partnerships are not just about training—it’s about building a community of care that will continue long after internship year ends.
