Biography

Hi, my name is Porsche!

I am a cisgender Black woman who believes deeply that we all have a story to tell. I was born in South Bend, Indiana and moved to Minnesota as a young child, where I was raised surrounded by strong women who shaped how I see the world. From early on, advocacy became a core part of who I am and the work I felt called to do.

My introduction to mental health and advocacy began through my mother’s work supporting women, which gave me early exposure to community leadership and the importance of standing up for others. Over time, relationships with mentors in this space helped shape my work ethic and strengthen my passion for serving, advocating for, and celebrating women.

When I am not in the therapy space, I enjoy staying connected to adjacent mental health and advocacy work, collaborating with other professionals, and finding creative ways to help people grow, heal, and break cycles that no longer serve them.

My Practice

Therapy with me may feel like a conversation with an old friend. My approach is down to earth, humanistic, and conversational. I am strengths based and empowering, but never in a way that makes you feel invalidated, small, or shamed. Instead, I strive to understand the context you are coming from and the experiences that have shaped you, and I use curiosity to guide our work together.

I am deeply interested in your point of view and will ask questions that invite reflection and deeper self understanding. Because healing is not linear, I believe it can show up unexpectedly in ordinary moments and conversations. That is part of what makes therapy so unique. Whatever feels raw, unfinished, or heavy in your life has space here to exist as it is, with someone you can trust. And yes, we will definitely laugh together too, because life is not all good or all bad, and it is important to make room for the good alongside the hard.

More About Porsche

When I’m Not in Session

I love to eat. If there is food, I’ll go. I also love to travel and equally do not like airplanes. I love all things home decor, DIY and design and finding a new discount or vintage store literally makes my day. My children and partner are cool too!
