Biography
Hi, my name is Kat!
Have you wanted to talk about gender and explore your sexual orientation with someone who understands? As a queer, poly, nonbinary transmasc, Kat found that sharing space with other LGBTQIA+ people helped them better understand and navigate their world. Our identities and feeling connection matter. Therefore, he believes in making representation and community care an active focus in working with youth, adults, families, and couples/polycouples.
My Practice
Through my five years of work in mental health, I have grown deeply passionate about therapy as a shared space. I believe therapy can hold hard conversations just as much as laughter and joy. My interests include gender and sexual orientation exploration, ethical non monogamy, trauma work, interpersonal and systemic stressors, neurodivergence, and mental health symptoms. I understand that even within shared communities, every person’s experience is unique. My goal is to meet you where you are, actively listen to your goals, and collaborate with you to build a safe and strong therapeutic relationship as I support you on your journey.

More About Kat
When I’m Not in Session
I keep myself busy in my community, working with mutual aid, activism, and youth support groups. Because my energy levels vary, my hobbies tend to change with them. Lately, I have been enjoying going to local music shows with my partners. Some of my current favorite bands include Bugsy, Anita Velveeta, and D’Lakes. On lower energy days, I enjoy making art, watching nerdy cartoons, and spending time with my chosen family and many pets.
